C# Chp. 2 : How to use the Unity Editor

One of the things it taught me how to do was create a C# file and edit it using Visual Studios and then connect it to different objects I would have loaded into my project. The book goes over in detail how to do specific things, but it's hard to retain everything it's telling me without actually practicing with a real project.

C# Chp. 1 : Getting started with Unity

It was also a good reminder for me of how the structures of programming work. It was interesting hearing someone describe programming from a game developer's perspective. A lot of the things the author said in this chapter coincides with basic things my dad has always taught me about programming, like how you learn more and more as you program how stupid computers are, or how you should always search online to see if you can adapt someone else's code for your needs. The author also mentions early that in order to learn how to program well, you have to be interested in learning on your own, specifically mentioning that he became a game dev because he was far more interested in lea...
